Global newsCiner Glass Expands Partnership with Lommel SK

Ciner Glass Belgium and Lommel SK continue to build a strong and forward-looking partnership.
The packaging glass specialist has renewed its shirt sponsorship of the first team for two more seasons and is significantly expanding its involvement. Starting next season, Ciner Glass will also become the main sponsor of the Lommel SK Youth Academy.
Additionally, the company is hosting two Job Days at the Lommel SK stadium—on Thursday, June 12, and Tuesday, June 17—where attendees can learn about the new factory and potentially leave the pitch with a job offer in hand.
Ciner Glass, a family-owned company with Turkish roots, is currently constructing a state-of-the-art glass factory in Lommel. The company’s logo will continue to feature prominently on the back of the first team’s shirts during the 2025–2026 and 2026–2027 seasons. From next season, it will also appear on the front of the jerseys worn by all 500+ players in the Lommel SK Youth Academy.
“This partnership with Lommel SK has felt like a natural fit from the beginning,” said Yener Ciner, Director of Ciner Glass Belgium. “We’re building a crystal-clear future together with—and for—the Lommel community. Supporting both the first team and the youth academy is something we’re especially proud of as a family business.”
Lommel SK shares the enthusiasm. CEO Mattijs Manders commented, “Ciner Glass is a loyal and engaged partner. Their support enables us to advance both our sporting ambitions and our youth development programs.”
Beyond its sporting commitments, Ciner Glass Belgium is deeply invested in local employment. The company is seeking over 500 bottle makers to help launch and operate its new glass furnace.
“We want to inspire people to become part of a unique story in their own region,” said Yener. “Whether you’re playing football on the field or working in our factory, team spirit is what drives success at Ciner Glass.”
